Pupils have a say in the running of our school via the School Council with pupils electing one class member each year to be their School Council Representative.
Every class has a School Council Box for children to post suggestions as to how they would like our school to be further improved. The elected representative discusses these suggestions with their class so that they can represent their views at their regular meetings with Miss Tomlin. School Council members are then responsible for ensuring these improvements take place.
Previous School Council initiatives have included a “School General Election” a Charity Pyjama Day and a Healthy Tuck Shop. Monies raised have been used to buy playtime equipment as well as making charity donations of School Council’s choosing.
