Our School Vision
“To provide all our children with knowledge, perseverance and the imagination to develop their God given talents,
living out Christian values in order to live happy, fulfilling and considerate lives. We uphold the right of every individual to learn,
be valued and achieve their full academic potential.”
Christian values are embedded in every aspect of school life and are expressed through our School Motto:
‘In God’s hands we love, learn and grow’
Collective worship takes place every day with weekly Wednesday Worship partly organised by the Year 6 Worship Committee. An area of reflection and prayer is located in the school entrance with future plans to create a Reflection Garden within the school grounds.
Easter, Christmas and Harvest are marked by services in school to which parents are warmly invited.
Classes visit Keston Parish Church as part of their learning with Y6 having a special Leavers’ Service to mark the end of their time at Keston School. Y6 also attend the Church Schools Festival in Rochester Cathedral each year with Y3,Y4 and Y5 joining other Aquinas schools at Christian events and celebrations over the year.
Our Vision Statement:
To create a happy, caring, secure atmosphere where children and staff feel valued.
To provide all our children with knowledge, perseverance and the imagination to develop their God-given talents and achieve their full academic achievement, leading happy and fulfilling lives.
To promote in our children the desire to contribute positively to their school, their local community and their church, both now and in the years to come.
To create confident and responsible young people who have developed a spirit of adventure and enquiry so that they may meet the opportunities and challenges in our changing society.
To respect the differences in other people and uphold the right of every individual to safety, learning, happiness and respect, promoting the Christian values which underpin the ethos of the school.
